It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of my mother Katharina Buchfink Tritthardt,wife of Heinrich Tritthardt. She was born in Bessarabia in 1926 and moved to Canada in 1954.She was 81 years old at the time of her death.

Stammbaum-Zeichnung

Unser Familientreffen war wieder eine sehr gelungene Veranstaltung. Ein herzlichen Dank allen, die dazu beigetragen haben.
Kaum war das Fest, bei dem ja auch der aktuelle Stammbaum vorgestellt wurde, vorbei, da erhielt ich einige neue Daten aus Galizien. Und siehe da, es stellte sich heraus, dass mein Großvater Karl -- wie auch Jakob, Adam, Heinrich -- mehr Schwestern hatte als bisher bekannt! Dorothea (*1880) und Sophie (*1883) fehlten bislang in der Auflistung.
Im Online-Stammbaum ist dies inzwischen nachgetragen, siehe hier. Auch sonst hat es einige Korrekturen und Ergänzungen gegeben.

Our family reunion has been a very successful party. Many thanks to all who contributed their parts.
Again we presented the current family tree drawing. As soon as the party was over I received some more facts about our Galician ancestors. And in fact, I recognized that my grandpa Karl -- as well as Jakob, Adam, Heinrich -- did have more sisters than it was known before! Dorothea (*1880) and Sophie (*1883) were not listed before. Now this is updated in the online family tree (look here ). Some more corrections and additions have also been made.

Rechtzeitig zum Familientreffen sind die Stammbaumdaten komplett überarbeitet. Dank der Unterlagen von Terry konnte vor allem der kanadische Zweig erweitert werden, aber auch sonst sind viele Ergänzungen aufgenommen. Dies betrifft sowohl den Online-Stammbaum als auch die Daten im Download-Bereich. Und somit ist auch die Stammbaumzeichnung, die ich natürlich zum Treffen mitbringen werde, wieder etwas größer geworden...

Right in time for our family meeting the family tree data was updated. Thanks to Terry we could add many Canadian data. But some more additions could be made, too. This concerns the online family tree as well as the data in the download area. And, of course, the print-out which I will show at the family reunion has become bigger...

Hi Peter
I just noticed another error in my family tree. My grandparents, Ferdinand & Lydia Trithardt (nee Bader) were married on 6 January 1912 at Melville, Sask Canada and not as stated on the website. Could you please make this correction also.

Hi Peter,
More changes need to be made. This time it is my info (Elaine Grace Trithardt) that need corrections. The biological father is my 3 girls is Daniel Reiss not as it is stated on the website.
Also Angela's last name is now PELOQUIN as she married Andre Peloquin on 30 March 2004 here in Winnipeg Canada.

0Peter, some of the information that you were given from "Kanadische Terry" is wrong. My own personal info which I gave you is now wrong. The spelling of my father's name has been changed and now is wrong. My grandfather's place of death is now wrong.
The integrity of your website is at state.
On my father's birth certificate and death certificate it shows his name spelt as GUSTAVE CHRISTIAN TRITHARDT. And I know for a fact that this is correct...
My Grandfather, FERDINAND CHRISTIAN TRITHARDT died in Jan 1965 at Meliville, Sask, Canada. He died in his sleep, in his own bed, in his retirement home. Please make these corrections and don't change them again.

As for my personal data I will send it later after these corrections have been made. I have been trying to contact Terry Smith about these changes that she has made to my life/my history. I am the one who lived it and am still living it not her. It is slander, unethical, unprofessional and she lacks common courtesy and respect for the family. I am very angry with her for making these wrong changes.

Familienfotos/Familientreffen

Ich möchte das diesjährige Familientreffen dazu nutzen, um endlich alle anwesenden Familienmitglieder zu fotografieren. Ich werde alle Familien auch separat fotografieren. Ich kann Euch all meine gemachten Aufnahmen danach auf DVD zur Verfügung stellen.
Bringt deshalb alle ein paar DVD-Rohlinge , und wenn es geht , eure Laptops mit.
In der Woche nach dem Familientreffen habe ich vor, 1 Woche in Graz zu verbringen, um die Arbeit an den Familienfotos fortzusetzen.

Möchte gerne mehr über die Familie meiner Ur-Ur-Großmutter erfahren.
Ihr Name war Marie Tritthart, geb. am 25.5.1873 in Jozefow.
Ihre Eltern waren Philipp und Sophie Tritthart (Sophies Mädchenname war Ermel). Leider finde ich diese Namen im Stammbaum nicht wieder.

I want to know more about the family of my great-great-grandmother. Her name was Marie Tritthart, born in Josefow May 25, 1873. Her parents were Philipp and Sophie Tritthart (Sophie's maiden name was Ermel). I wonder I can't find these names in the family tree.

Marie Tritthart, *25.5.1873, verheiratet mit Martin JANZ, *16.9.1870 in Josefow, getauft 18.9.1870 in Radziechow (röm.kath. Kirche, wahrscheinlich Nottaufe). Beide sind 1895 noch in Josefow registriert. (Bitte in den neuesten OFB im Pfarrsprengel Josefow suchen.)

Marie Tritthart, born May 5, 1873, was married to Martin JANZ, born in Josefow in Sept. 16, 1870, baptized in Radziechow Sept. 18, 1870 (in a catholic church, so it was probably an emergency baptism). Both were still registered in Josefow in 1895. (Please have a look at the newest town registry book of Josefow.)

Bislang waren die Trittharts politisch nicht sonderlich hervorgetreten. Aber nun wurde Alexander Tritthart zum ersten Bürgermeister des Marktes Weisendorf (Bayern) gewählt! Als CSU-Kandidat hat er immerhin 53,87 % der Stimmen erhalten. Gratulation und die besten Wünsche für das neue Amt!

Until now I didn't know of any political activities of the Trittharts. But a few weeks ago Alexander Tritthart was elected first Mayor of the small town of Weisendorf, which is located in Bavaria. He got 53,87 % of the votes. Congratulations and best wishes for the new function.

Hallo, ich schreibe einen Roman über Bessarabien, beginnend mit dem Jahr 1815 als Auswanderung über die Donau zum Schwarzen Meer. Der Roman endet mit dem Jahre 1945, die Zeit 1940/42, als die Auswanderung von Bessarabien nach Polen "Heim ins Reich" begann.
Geschildert werden die Freuden, aber vor allem die Leiden, die diese Aussiedler erlebt haben. Dazu habe ich sehr viel recherchiert - kann aber immer noch (mehr) Materialien gebrauchen. Vor allem interessiert mich die Zeit 1815 - auf der Fahrt auf der Donau mit den "Ulmer Schachteln". Wer hat darüber noch etwas?
Aber auch die Jahre danach sind wichtig.

Hello, I'm writing a novel about Bessarabia, starting with the year 1815 when emigration across the Danube to the Black Sea. The novel ends with the year 1945 or 1940/42 when emigration from Bessarabia to Poland began.
I'm writing about the joys but some more about the suffering of the people. I did a lot of investigations but still need some more materials. Most of all I'm interested in the time around 1815 - the journey with the "Ulmer Schachteln" on the Danube. Who knows anything about that? The following years are important, too.

Just before the Christmas days our chieftain "Silvercurl" (Harald) sent the actualized clan list (mainly the Austrian family members) to all the people in his email list. And he mentioned the next family reunion, which will take place in Altersberg (Carinthia / Austria) again around the weekend October 25/26, 2008. Please reserve this date!
